Now that elections and campaigns are over, please go about your personal businesses. Politics is not a career but a selfless endeavor.
✓ Reduce or Stop going to your leader’s house. Don’t be a regular customer to their gate. Allow them respect you.
✓ Introduce your business to them, so they can patronize you when ever they have need of your product or services.
✓ Don’t go to them for bread and butter.
✓ Don’t go to them for your children’s school fees.
✓ Don’t go to them to collect money to discharge your wife from hospital after giving birth.
√ For those that won election, give them space to deliver their promises to the people. Infact, task them to deliver on their promises to the community. Because if they don’t deliver, your integrity will be on the spot for campaigning for them.
✓ For those that lost election, give them space to recover all they have spent for the election.
✓ Allow them to be the one to call you for reward or benefits if they wish. But if they don’t, ignore them and go about your personal business. Because the main purpose of politics is community development before personal interest.
