COMRADE IKWU COMMENDS THE UNIDEL VC FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE 2023/24 ACADEMIC SESSION

In a laudable show of appreciation, Comrade Joel Ikwu, the branch chairman of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) at the University of Delta, Agbor (UNIDEL), has commended the Vice Chancellor, Professor Stella Chiemeke, for her outstanding leadership and management which led to the successful completion of the 2023/24 academic session.
Despite the numerous challenges posed by the national protest, code-named #EndBadGovernance in Nigeria, the academic session was navigated smoothly and concluded on a high note. Comrade Ikwu emphasized that this achievement is a testament to Professor Chiemeke’s exceptional administrative capabilities and her steadfast commitment to the university’s progress.
“Professor Stella Chiemeke has proven herself to be one of the finest university administrators in Nigeria. Her name is now etched in the stone of achievers for her remarkable ability to steer the university through tumultuous times,” said Comrade Ikwu.
He further lauded her expertise in man management, highlighting how she effectively engaged the university’s critical stakeholders with her visionary approach. Professor Chiemeke’s efforts to transform the University of Delta, Agbor into a world-class institution and the number one choice for admission seekers have been particularly commendable. Her strategic initiatives have not only enhanced the university’s reputation but also attracted a growing number of prospective students.
Comrade Ikwu, concluded by urging prospective admission seekers to consider the University of Delta, Agbor as their first choice, given its rising standards and the exemplary leadership at its helm. He expressed confidence that under Professor Chiemeke’s guidance, the university would continue to reach new heights and provide an enriching educational experience for all its students.
